What a standard visit covers

A standard cleaning is the maintenance visit. It assumes the home is already in reasonable shape and its job is to keep it there — which is why it costs about a third of what a deep clean does and takes about half the time.

Every room: dusting all reachable surfaces, ceiling fans and light fixtures within reach, window sills and ledges, doors and door frames, light switches and handles, mirrors, floors vacuumed and mopped, trash out.

Kitchen: counters and backsplash, sink and faucet, outside of all appliances, stovetop and control panel, outside of cabinets, microwave inside and out, table and chairs.

Bathrooms: toilet inside and out including the base, shower and tub scrubbed, glass and tile, vanity and sink, mirror, chrome polished, floor.

Bedrooms: beds made or linens changed if you leave them out, surfaces dusted, under reachable furniture, floors.

How often is right

Weekly suits full houses — kids, pets, people home during the day, a kitchen that gets used properly. Every two weeks is what most of our customers choose and it is the sweet spot for a typical family home in south Dade. Monthly works for a couple or a single person who tidies as they go, though in Homestead and the Redland the agricultural dust means monthly visits do carry more work each time.

Recurring service takes 20% off weekly, 15% off every two weeks and 10% off monthly, applied to every visit rather than just the first.

Start with a deep clean, then hold it

If the home has not had a professional cleaning in the last few months, the first visit should be a deep clean. It resets grout, baseboards, blinds, fan blades, tracks and the inside of appliances — the things a standard visit does not have time for. After that reset, standard visits hold the house indefinitely. We will tell you honestly on the phone if we think you can skip it.

Same crew, standing slot

On a recurring schedule you get the same day, the same time window and, whenever the schedule allows, the same cleaners. That matters more than people expect: a crew that already knows your home, your pets and the two things you care about most gets more done in the same hours and needs no re-explaining. When we have to send someone different, we tell you before the day rather than after.

Things you can add

Inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, interior windows, laundry, inside cabinets, garage sweep-out and screen enclosures are all available as add-ons. Ask when you book and we will quote them with the visit instead of surprising you on the invoice.
